| I have very good memories about Berlin where i went in the year
2004. I think this comes mainly from the big glasses of cold beer they
serve in combination with the "Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut" sausages.
Berlin has also places to see like "checkpoint charlie" where in the
cold war the connection was between east and west. Other famous places
are the Berlin Zoo and Potsdamerplatz
and the many museums.
But i did not only drink and eat in Germany as you can see on the
picture above. I went to a place called Sankt Goar where you can find an old
castle with old cannons on top to defend the castle in the early days. Also inside the castle you can see all stuff from the middle ages
like a knights armor and even a torture chamber.
If you book a river rhine cruise then you will probably pass by this
castle but won't see then the most of it, so my advice is to make a
daily trip to it.
